Living Your Yoga: A Weekend of Yoga, Nature & Self-Discovery

May 14 – May 17, 2015

Stowe, VT

Our first retreat was an enormous success! The accommodations, the weather, the food and the company simply could not possibly be improved upon!  This 4-day, 3-night all-inclusive retreat in the scenic beauty of Vermont was an unforgettable journey for all, leading back to the self! With the perfect balance of exploring and relaxing, we were able to release what no longer felt authentic and replace it with that which renewed our souls.

Our Living Your Yoga experience included:

  • Daily yoga classes in a gorgeous studio with amazing mountain vistas
  • Unique, comfortable rooms with cozy beds and warm duvets
  • All meals for the 4 days of our visit (9 meals in total) *
  • Creative journaling session designed to open your imagination
  • Yoga with Horses program
  • Unlimited access to indoor cedar sauna and outdoor hot tub
  • Wrap-around porch for quiet reflection and scenic views
  • Beautiful spots to meditate, including an authentic teepee
  • An optional choice to sleep in the teepee for a night (Okay, no one did – beds were too comfy!)
  • Evening stargazing
  • Communing with nature within the Von Trapp family forests
  • Waterfall walk and exploration
  • Endless opportunities to connect with nature
  • The quaint, picturesque and honest beauty of Stowe, VT

* Our personal chef used high quality, all-natural ingredients to offer an array of delicious, nutritionally sound options at every meal. We were nourished with whole grains, fresh vegetables, locally-sourced Vermont products, organic poultry, fish, and dairy products. Light snacks, coffee and tea were available all day and at our convenience. We were able to accommodate vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free diets (thanks for the advance notice!)

This natural horsemanship program was open to all, but, of course, optional. NOONE missed out! Sessions included: 3-mile hike/ride through the Von Trapp Land Trust woods, yoga on horses (yes, on!) and an early morning trail run/walk with horses on leads. We are all thankful for the opportunity to participate in this truly one-of-a-kind experience!
